Price Ranges Settings
Price Ranges
- Public label: Price Ranges
- Location: Filter Editor > Filters / Blocks > Price Ranges Settings
- Type: Repeater
- Default value: Empty.
- Shown when: Price Skin is Ranges List.
- Availability: Free
- What it does: Defines manual price buckets with from, to, and optional label values.
- When to use: Use it when the store knows the exact price bands shoppers expect.
- Side effects / performance notes: Overlapping ranges should be avoided because they create ambiguous results.
- Related options: Auto-generate Ranges, Range Label Template.
Auto-generate Ranges
- Public label: Auto-generate Ranges
- Location: Filter Editor > Filters / Blocks > Price Ranges Settings
- Type: Toggle
- Default value: Off
- Shown when: Price Skin is Ranges List.
- Availability: Free
- What it does: Creates price buckets automatically from the catalog's price bounds.
- When to use: Use it for quick setup or catalogs where manual range design is not important.
- Side effects / performance notes: Generated ranges should be reviewed after major price changes.
- Related options: Auto-generate Count, Round Generated Numbers, Min / Max Price.
Under/Over Values
- Public label: Under/Over Values
- Location: Filter Editor > Filters / Blocks > Price Ranges Settings
- Type: Select
- Default value: None / under / over / both choices.
- Shown when: Price Skin is Ranges List.
- Availability: Free
- What it does: Adds open-ended "under" or "over" choices around the defined ranges.
- When to use: Use it when shoppers often search below or above the normal range bands.
- Side effects / performance notes: Open-ended choices can overlap with broad manually defined ranges if ranges are not planned carefully.

Range Label Template
- Public label: Range Label Template
- Location: Filter Editor > Filters / Blocks > Price Ranges Settings
- Type: Text
- Default value: Min to max template.
- Shown when: Price Skin is Ranges List.
- Availability: Pro
- What it does: Formats the label text for price ranges.
- When to use: Use it for localization or brand-specific price wording.
- Side effects / performance notes: Template wording must stay clear for under and over values too.

Auto-generate Count

- Shown when: Auto-generate Ranges is on.
- Availability: Free
- What it does: Sets how many ranges are created automatically.
- When to use: Use fewer ranges for simple stores and more ranges when price distribution is broad.
- Side effects / performance notes: Too many ranges can make the filter noisy.

Round Generated Numbers
- Public label: Round Generated Numbers
- Location: Filter Editor > Filters / Blocks > Price Ranges Settings
- Type: Toggle
- Default value: On
- Shown when: Auto-generate Ranges is on.
- Availability: Free
- What it does: Rounds generated range boundaries to cleaner numbers.
- When to use: Keep it on so generated price bands look intentional.
- Side effects / performance notes: Rounded ranges may not be mathematically equal.
- Related options: Auto-generate Count, Price Rounding.
Show Input Fields (Price Ranges)

- Location: Filter Editor > Filters / Blocks > Price Ranges Settings

- Shown when: Price Skin is Ranges List.

- What it does: Adds manual min and max fields below the range choices.
- When to use: Use it when shoppers need both quick buckets and a precise custom price range.

Show Count per Range

Hide Empty Ranges
